Much national attention has been focused on shutting down illegal pill mills, but where does that leave people who legitimately need prescription drugs?

A free Community Ethics Forum "Pain Management Beyond the Politics" will answer this and many other topics related to major ethical issues in health care Oct. 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Library Conference Center at the Seminole Campus of St. Petersburg College, 9200 113th Street North, Seminole.

The keynote speaker is Myra Christopher who holds the Kathleen M. Foley chair in Pain and Palliative Care at the Center for Practical Bioethics, where she was CEO and President from 1985-2011.  She is available for phone interviews any time before the event at 816-979-1350.
