Annual Golf Tourney Announced to Benefit Slain Officers' Families
The benefit will be held annually for at least the next five years, with the first tee off on Feb. 21.
The Sgt. Thomas Baitinger and K9 Officer Jeffrey Yaslowitz Memorial Golf Tournament was announced today by the St. Petersburg Police Department. It will be an annual charity event at Feathersound Country Club, in Clearwater.
There will be a shotgun start at at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Carraba's Italian Grille will
provide the morning golfers with lunch and the afternoon golfers with dinner.
Sponsors for this event are Feathersound Country Club, Georgie's
Alibi, and Citi First Mortgage.
The cost to play is $125, with all proceeds going directly to the family.
