Welcome to this week's Patch Minute! We want you to have a blast this weekend, rain or shine! Let's start off with a free family event in Gulfport!

Gulfport

The first annual Aquamania will be packed with kayak races, a water balloon toss, water color section for kids, recycle regatta and dunk tank. Yes, there will be plenty of "local celebrities" for you to soak in the dunk tank including Gulfport Patch Editor Cherlene Willis (who will be in the tank from 1 - 1:30 p.m.) There will also be live entertainment and craft vendors all day from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. There will be beer and wine sales at The Point, which is behind the Gulfport Recreation Center. For more information check out the "Aquamania Survival Guide" by Lori Rosso, President of the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce.

St. Pete

Want to be rowdie this weekend? Stop by a Tampa Bay Rowdies soccer game at Al Lang Field in downtown St. Pete. Tickets for the Saturday night game range from $12 to $45. Saturday night, the team goes head to head with the San Antonio Scorpions at 7:30 p.m. Check out the website to buy tickets.

The Beaches

Alright! Who loves food? Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach is hosting the 4th Friday Food Truck Festival from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. Stop by for food, craft vendors, live music and more. The event is free but bring plenty of cash for good eats. For more information check out the "4th Friday Food Truck Festival" Facebook page.
