The Garden has Pungent Pasta

This week's best plate was dished out by Central Ave's Garden restaurant.

Appetizers, pasta and meat from both land and sea, The Garden is a solid establishment in downtown St. Pete. Outdoor seating is great for the dinner crowd while indoor options are also available. Live music is a regular happening at The Garden, especially on the weekends.

For date night, I wanted to think of something different. We tried The Garden restaurant, mainly because the menu was appealing and outdoor seating was ideal because it was gorgeous outside.

I ordered the Fresh Mushroom Pasta and I knew immediately that it would be the best thing I ate, all week. For $13.50 the plate was a heaping pile of fresh penne pasta, topped with a porcini brandy cream sauce and sautéed onions.

The Garden proved to be efficient in both service and quality of food. I recommend it for a date night or an evening out with friends.

We love the Garden. The food is always great and we love the live music in the late afternoon!

Visited the Garden before moving to downtown St Pete . Enjoyed even more after moving downtown. After 16 years matters forced another move away but recently dined with friends there and will anytime I am in that area A+
