Business Opportunities on 34th Street North to Be Explored
The goal of the Aug. 30 session is to outline recent commercial developments and discuss future opportunities.
ST. PETERSBURG – Council Member Jeff Danner and city representatives will host a 34th Street North corridor session at Skyline 5th, 441 33rd Street North.
The free forum is at 5:30 pm., Aug. 30.
Business owners and commercial real estate brokers are invited to attend and find out about recent economic growth along the corridor and its potential.
New developments include:
- 107,000-square-foot WalMart
- 49,639-square-foot Publix
- 140,703-square-foot Sam's Club
The three-mile radius of the 34th Street North corridor (Central Avenue to 38th Avenue North), represents a strong market that includes 11,606 employees and 9,540 households.

Great to see this new development along such an important corridor. If we can continue to clean up the hotels, we'll see some real growth and more jobs in the area. Thank you Councilmember Jeff Danner for showing leadership on this issue.
