This week's "best thing I ate" comes from a store on Central Ave. called the Cupcake Spot. Known for their creative spin on the popular dessert, the menu alone is enough to make your mouth water. From the chocolate chip Better Thans to the carrot and walnut infused Bunny Hops, the folks at The Cupcake Spot mean business when it comes to baking.
I ordered one of the Butterscotch Babies, which is a buttery toffee cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the butterscotch chips on top. The cake was moist and fresh while the creamy smooth icing made for a delicious indulgence. The Cupcake Spot is located at 405 Central Ave.
