Thousands of Mail Ballots Continue to Pour in
Early voting numbers in Pinellas County have helped bolster Democratic turnout to lead Republicans in ballots cast before election day.
Of the 626,348 registered voters in Pinellas County, 271,9542 have already cast their ballots, which is a 43 percent turnout, either by mail or voting early.
Among those voters, 107,389 were registered Democrats, 106,949 registered Republicans and 57,207 are other.
Thousands of mail ballots are still coming in on Election Day. More than 8,500 ballots have been received in Pinellas today.

The numbers are from the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Office as of 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The latest Reuters poll has Gov. Mitt Romney with a slim lead over President Barack Obama in Florida, 48 percent to 47 percent. The poll was conducted Nov. 3-5. Other polls, such as Public Policy Polling, have Obama with a one-point advantage, 50 percent to 49 percent, in the state.

According to the Huffington Post's Election Dashboard, Florida is a tossup, with both Romney and Obama at 48 percent.
