Dramatic Fall of Universal Healthcare

Once a shining success story in the St. Pete economy, Universal Healthcare faces allegations of financial mismanagement as the state prepares to shut it down.

Universal Healthcare heads toward insolvency, as its 140,000 members are being transferred to different insurers by April 1. By the end of the day Friday, 800 Universal Healthcare workers will be laid off from their jobs.
