With stomachs full of turkey, fridges filled with leftovers and shopping baskets full of Black Friday deals, it will be time to flip the switch on the holiday season.
The holiday season officially kicks off in St. Petersburg tonight when Mayor Bill Foster flips the giant switch on thousands lights in downtown St. Pete.
St. Petersburg's annual Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony begins at 5 tonight in North Straub Park, 5th Avenue N. and Beach Dr.
Get there early to view the giant Christmas tree and watch thousands of lights come to life. Entertainment begins at 5 with the St. Petersburg Community Band, the Lutheran Church of the Cross Bell Choir and Radio Disney.
Foster flips the holiday light switch at 7 p.m. on the waterfront-park lights. Admission is free.
