Florida Amendment 3: State Revenue Limitation
Take a closer look at the proposed amendment to the Florida Constitution before you vote.
Amendment 3: State Government Revenue Limitation
This amendment sets the state’s revenue limit based on a formula that takes inflation and population growth into account.
Opponents, including the League of Women Voters of Florida, say this would negatively impact the state and its ability to provide services.
Supporters say the measure would prevent the state from taxing beyond a family’s ability to pay and that it would force government to become more efficient.

Anybody who wants to see how this works out should just look at the mess California is in thirty-five years after Proposition 13.

Like California was not a mess before Prop 13? Completely different animals, and governments, Thank God.

I am in favor of any proposal which puts limitations on the government's ability to tax. If I have to live within my means, so should those who are representing me.

Vote No on all amendments. A Constitution should define how a state Government is established, not attempt to govern it.
