From what I can see on the streets, the cops have not made a dent in the problem. this is ''bs''. They need to do more of the same times 1000. I can drive by a dozen places in the St Pete area where it is obviously that drugs are being sold there...and these places seem to have some sort of freet icket to do what they want. I think the cops are scared of the druggies. I don't blame them...but then again...my job is not being a cop. They signed up for the job...now we need to see them do it...or find other work. It really is quite incredible the openess and visibility of drug houses around here...and parking lots, etc where things are ''going down''. The cops could pay all their bills by just making arrests along 15th Ave S (West of I-275) and the surounding streets. This neighborhood is trying hard to remain a decent place to live...but it is slipping away to the hood.

I wonder if these folks were arrested at the trailer parks along Haines Rd. Kids from my nearby neighborhood gets their drugs from those locations.
