Photos: Color Run Paints St. Petersburg
The Color Run St. Petersburg turned downtown St. Petersburg shades of yellow, pink, blue and orange this weekend.
Downtown St. Petersburg got a little more colorful this past Saturday.
The Color Run, called the "Happiest 5k on the Planet!", took place on Saturday morning along the St. Petersburg bayfront. The race was sold out and had 10,000 runners being hit with powdered color while dressed in white.
St. Pete editor William Mansell, Gulfport Patch editor Cherlene Willis and Dunedin Patch editor Katie Dolac got decked in white clothing and ran in the 5K in downtown St. Petersburg.
Check out our gallery to see some of the runners and our Patch editors and the video slideshow of the closing ceremony. Make sure to show us your photos or videos if you ran.
