(Photos) St. Petersburg Pier, Vinoy and More Views From Readers
Patch put out the call for photos, and reader Carl Wilson shared his most creative take on the Pier, the Vinoy and a scoop of Florida sunshine on an ice cream cone. Really.
Here is how Carl Wilson described his creative photos, posted to Pics & Clips:
"They were all taken in downtown St. Pete with a Sony a57 DSLR. The ice cream cone shot was done from the park bench in from of the sun dial one morning at sunrise. Just thought it would look cool and it did.
"I call it Orange sherbert sunshine. The shots of downtown buildings were done from on top of the pier, also with the Sony a57 using a in camera HDR effect. I am trying to get as many as possible before it goes away."
