Suspects Rob Gas Station at Gunpoint

Two men held a gas station clerk at gunpoint Tuesday night. Police are searching for the suspects

 

Two men entered the Kenwood Citgo Gas Station Tuesday night and held the clerk at gunpoint while taking cash, change and lottery tickets from the register. 

According to St. Petersburg Police, the robbery took place at 10 p.m. Tuesday night at 900 34th St. N.

During that time two suspects, police said both males in their late teens to early twenties, entered the store trying to conceal their identities.

One suspect armed with a semi-automatic handgun reached over the counter and threatened the clerk while the second suspect moved around the counter and took cash, loose change and lottery tickets.

Both suspects then fled the store and no getaway vehicle was seen, police said.

Police said the second unarmed suspect is wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with what appears to be the words "Pinellas Park" appearing in white lettering on the front.
