Reward Offered in Bank Robberies
Wells Fargo is offering a reward to help track down the bank robber or robbers who hit a 66th Street branch twice this year.
Wells Fargo offered a $5,000 reward Tuesday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects who robbed a 66th Street bank branch twice since January.
The first armed robbery at 3131 66th St. North was on Jan. 26, 2013. The second robbery was on March 15, 2013.
If you have any information, call Det. Reginald Mitchell at 727-893-4204, or the police non-emergency line at 727-893-7780.
Surveillance video from the March 15 holdup shows a man pointing a handgun at clerks and demanding money. (St. Petersburg Police say the man in this video stole a car at gunpoint just minutes before robbing Wells Fargo around 1:45 p.m. Friday.)
He is in early 20s, tall, about 220 pound. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and carrying a backpack.

Look at the video and half way through behind the bank robber you will be a guy on his knees grab a woman around the waist and use her as a shield.
Also why are we being politically correct and not offering if this guy is white or black- Can't really tell myself.
