While Big Bird may have stolen the show, there was still the bigger message that protesters wanted to convey at Gov. Mitt Romney's presidential campaign rally in St. Petersburg Oct. 5.

Protesters from both FCAN and Moveon.org came out to oppose Romney's GOP bid for president.

"I truly don't believe he cares about anyone below his status," Christopher Radulich of Moveon.org said.

While Romney was the main focus, other politcal players present, like Rep. Bill Young, were being protested as well.

To see what the protestors have to say, make sure to check out our full video above.

You should be telling this to Obama. He apportioned over 700 billion to medicaid, and I hate to already break it to you libs, but your messiah already destroyed the economy. Geez, libs claim they have two brains. Too bad one is lost and the other one is out searching for it.

Your eloquent retort says it all, doesn't it? Are you referring to the crippled economy, huge debt compliments of a false war or the deregulated financial markets that Obama inherited? I am baffled?

He either wasn't alive during the Bush years or was too busy screeching "USA! USA! USA!" like some kind of brain-dead automaton for eight straight years. Two unfunded wars and ginormous tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires under W? Never happened! Lehman collapses in Sept '09, sending the global economy into a talspin? Never happened! That was all because of an evil villain named Barney Frank in cahoots with the undeserving minorities that went out and got mortgages, so a deregulated Wall Street running wild is simply a figment of everyone's imagination - didn't you know that?

Oh, this guy sure does have the answers, doesn't he. He doesn't even have to do a speck of intellectual work on his own, either. Why go to college or do any independent thinking when you can just lazily turn on your tv and radio and have all of your preconceived paranoid delusions validated by intellectualy deficient screechers who are paid to manipulate your debased passions on purpose? Problem solved!

This character obviously just tunes in to hear the demented, under-educated hosts of his low-brow radio and tv commercials to learn what he's supposed to think. It's low-brow, low-class and utterly pathetic, I know, but he has a right to be a low-information voter if he chooses not to think on his own.

Is this a great country, or what?

USA! USA! USA!

LOL!!!

It's really sad the best the right could conger up is a back-flipping guy like this. I kinda feel embarrassed for them. Lies are the best they can do . .. .. really? Sad, very sad, how the mighty have fallen.
