School Lunch Prices Going Up for Pinellas County Students

All students will be able to have free breakfast this year, but school lunch prices are increasing by 25 cents for elementary schools and 50 cents for middle and high schools.

 

As school starts today for Pinellas County students, they will need a little extra money for lunch this year.

School lunch prices are going up this year for Pinellas County students.

Lunch prices are increasing 25 cents, from $1.75 to $2, for elementary schools and 50 cents, from $2 to $2.50, for middle and high schools, the district said on its website.

Free breakfast will be available to all students this year.

The higher lunch prices are the first increase for Pinellas County Schools since the 2005-06 school year, the district said.
