St. Petersburg Police have arrested a man who they say robbed two banks in a 24-hour span this week.
Erik Durkin, 30, of 10901 Brighton Bay Blvd, Apt #10208, has been charged for the robberies at the SunTrust Bank and TD Bank.
According to police, St. Petersburg Police detectives in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Durkin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Nadiya's Cabaret located 8804 66th Street North, in Pinellas Park.
Durkin, police said, was arrested without incident.
The SunTrust, 601 34 Street North, was robbed on Feb. 25 and the TD Bank at 425 22 Ave. N. was robbed on Feb. 26.
Police say it does not appear that Durkin was in any way associated with bank robbery suspect Michael Ingram who was also arrested recently in connection with two other bank robberies.
