Play Examines the 1998 Killing of a Gay Student

'The Laramie Project' will be performed at Studio@620 in St. Petersburg.

 

“The Laramie Project” is a powerful play that looks at the 1998 murder of gay college student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, WY. This play is produced by students from the Pinellas County Center for the Arts. Tickets are $15, or $10 for students and seniors. Call 727-895-6620 or go to www.studio620.org. The play is being staged in June in honor of St. Pete Pride Month. The play opened June 20 and runs through June 22 at Studio@620 in St. Petersburg.
