Rundown: The annual First Night celebration is held along the waterfront of downtown St. Petersburg. This is the place to be if you’re looking for family-friendly fun. Rundown: Pre-sale tickets are going fast, so buy them now. Plus, it is cheaper ahead of time with $10 tickets for ladies and $15 for guys. Rundown: Live music kicks off the party at 9 p.m. with no cover and a slew of drink specials running throughout the night. Enjoy a complimentary midnight beer toast if you decide to celebrate the coming of 2012 with WOB. Ladies will receive half off wine and select beer drafts from 9 p.m. until midnight.

Rundown: The Sake Bomb is celebrating its first new year at the Central Ave. location. Cover is $2 and drink specials include: $1 PBR and Bud Light drafts, $3 Magic Hat draft, $4 Sake Bombs and $5 Saketinis. Indulge in a free champagne toast at midnight as well.

Rundown: Jannus Live is hosting a Cheap Trick concert that includes an 18-piece orchestra and a choir that will be seated above the stage. A limited number of Early Bird tickets are $100 each and not only give you access to the show, but also an all you can drink pass. Rundown: A lot of places consider New Year’s Eve a time to dress up with suits and cocktails dresses. Durty Nelly’s is not one of those places. This year, the Irish bar is throwing a New Year’s bash that they consider to be “durty style.” $5 cover gives you access to the party and live music from DJ Pez, starting at 11 p.m. $15 bottles of champagne served in paper bags will be up for grabs as well.

Rundown: Known for its live music by bands and DJ’s, Fubar is having a melodically infused New Year’s Eve party. Performances by Dead Cat Lounge, Bleeding Money, Nick Lennon, Spririts Down and Mother Machine will liven up the night. Spending your New Year’s Eve at Fubar will also get you a free glass of champagne for a midnight toast.
- The Spot: MacDinton’s @ Jannus Live
Rundown: The new downtown location opens on Friday night, so Saturday’s New Year’s Eve celebration is sure to be packed. There is no cover and DJ Ich will be DJ’ing the night away immediately following the Cheap Trick show in the courtyard. The party starts at 8 p.m.

Rundown: Celebrate the end of 2011 and start of 2012 with two parties under one roof. Bishop Tavern & Lounge is hosting a huge bash in honor of the new year.
