Doc's 2012 St. Pete Pride Gallery

This year's St. Pete Pride was another stellar event. Great weather, big crowd and lots of vendors. I have not missed one since the event started.

Each year, the St. Pete Pride seems to get bigger, better and younger. The crowd continues to be an eclectic mix of the LGBT community, from the committed to the curious and the serious to the bodacious. All having a great time.

St. Pete Pride is a great place to catch up with old friends, meet new ones and spend a few hours being yourself. I don't think anyone was disappointed this year.

There were a couple of things missing from this year's event that I really liked. First was the balloon arches at the parade route beginning and ending and second the Flag Train at the end of the parade.

I particularly missed the flag train, since it allowed parade watchers to actually join in at the end of the parade. And selfishly, it provided some great pictures. The balloon arches provided a welcoming entry and exit feeling.

Maybe next year.

Gay or straight if you have never been to a St. Pete Pride event you should put it on your calendar and check it out.

Enclosed is my St. Pete Pride 2012 photo Gallery. Check it out. If you were there you may find yourself in one or more of the shots.

Nice set of photos! A good time was had by all, although I was kind of hating the sun by the end of the morning.

Thanks so much. Great photos. I had to be out of town and miss Pride this year so I appreciate them.
