Meet Jessie Urso, a rescue dog adopted from Dunedin Doggie Rescue…

Mother Melody Urso shares:

“At the ripe old age of 57, I adopted my first pet ever—a little rescue dog named Jessie. 

The truth is, she found me when I first went to see her and she jumped off the lap she was sitting on and came to lay down on mine. She put her head on my arm and went to sleep.

She was the first dog I met [once I decided to adopt] and I knew I need not look further…I had no inkling of the sheer joy Jessie would bring into my life, not to mention the wonderful people I have met as a result of her very existence. 

She is my best friend…To this day, Jessie and I walk by the mural almost daily to say hello to the doggies and to the special friends who are painted there.”
