Linda this is a great article and I love your approach to share the experience of caregiving by…Read More asking for help and resources. The job of caregiver can be lessened by the community recognizing when someone needs a bit more assistance because often times the direct caregiver cannot see the changes as readily as an impartial party. Thanks as always for your insightful perspective.

Janet, no chip on the shoulder here. My comments were meant to be satirical in nature. In this…Read More overdosed prescription drug society, we give to much money and power to big pharma. Just for example, we now give powerful psychotropic drugs to 3-4-year-old children diagnosed unbelievably with bi-polar disorder. Is your kid a problem child at school, then get him or her on prescription drugs or they can't continue coming to school. Janet, "mother's little helpers" are not helping mothers or their children deal with emotional, developmental or behavioral issues, they merely turn them into chemically induced zombies while the pharmaceutical companies rake in billions of dollars of profits. Is this really how we want to live? Didn't think so!

OK, Dennis. If Holder goes so do you because you're an embarrassment to democracy and more of the…Read More problem than the solution. What have you done lately to help your constituency to the determent of your reelection chances. Didn't you vote to approve the Patriot Act? Not very patriotic of you numb nuts! And then you have audacity to point your bony guilty finger at someone else. What a complete hypocrite! Why don't you do us all a favor and leave public service or serve the public in a way you can't do so much harm, you stink-hole smelling dick-less wonder!

Good info. Thank you for sparking this idea because we mostly think about this stuff after the storm…Read More instead of before. I agree that being PREPARED is the key. Another idea is to buy 3 in 1 type tools that can do several things to help you with clean up or several tools that come on one case so you can quickly grab that one case when needed (instead of all the individual tools).
