Boca Ciega Yacht Club offers a five week Adult Basic
Sailing Class beginning Wednesday, March 7, 2012. The course includes five Wednesday evening classes and four weekend sailing sessions. Students will put classroom theories into practice sailing the club's Catalina 16.5' keelboats. Cost is $250 per person including all classroom materials and the U.S. Sailing Association's Basic Keelboat manual. Participants receive a complementary three month club membership. With a 2:1 student-teacher ratio this is the most reasonably priced program in the Tampa Bay area.

Sailing Club that promotes sailing activities throughout the entire Tampa Bayarea and offers Youth sailing courses free to the public each summer.

More About Boca Ciega Yacht Club
This private sailing club has been active since the 1940s. It offers free use of club boats for members, as well as sailing schools for youths and adults. Activities include monthly racing and cruises and the yearly Christmas boat parade. The facilities include both dry and wet slips, free dockage for up to two days for members and friends and a clubhouse.
