Be a citizen marine scientist! Pinellas County Sea Grant invites your participation in a Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute sponsored research study of bay scallops. The program will provide an overview of Bay Scallop Ecology. Then, participants will help to measure and track the progress of our caged bay scallops at Weedon Island Preserve. All ages welcome.

Weedon Island Preserve is a Pinellas County government run parks and conservation program. The grounds here features 3700 acres of land with fish, animals and native plants and vegetation.
