Musical: "Vanishing Point"
This musical fantasy brings together author Agatha Christie, evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson, and pilot Amelia Earhart on "a road trip through time and space." Christie vanished for 11 days in 1926, the same year McPherson disappeared for three weeks -- and in 1937, Earhart vanished, never to be seen again.
This show features Lauren L. Wood, Victoria Adams-Zischke, and Kathleen Brooke Davis as the women, their mothers, husbands, reporters, fans, and other characters as they step in and out of each other's lives, the theater says.

More About American Stage Theater
Attendance at American Stage Theatre Company has soared since it moved into new digs at the Raymond James Theatre, just a block south of Bay Walk. The new theater space is in the same building as St. Petersburg College's downtown campus.
Parking is convenient, because Synovus Bank lets patrons use its parking lot for free during performances; it is one block away, on 3rd Street. Also, St. Petersburg College's parking garage is open to patrons for $5 on Friday night, Saturdays and Sundays.
Interested in helping promote theater downtown? The stage company has a volunteer hotline: 727-823-1600, ext. 222.
