The Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef Project is an international movement to raise awareness about the condition of the world's coral reefs. Crocheters of all levels are invited to these sessions at the library to crochet coral for a local “reef” that will be exhibited in May at the Florida Craftsmen Gallery.
Yarn and crochet needles provided. Children should bring a participating adult to assist them.

More About Museum of Fine Arts
Located on Beach Drive in downtown St. Petersburg, The Museum of Fine Arts overlooks scenic Tampa Bay. With more than 14,000 objects ranging from antiquity to the present day, patrons can spend a day admiring the exhibits. Steuben glass, decorative arts and pre-Columbian objects are some of the items on display. Visitors also enjoy strolling through two interior gardens where sculpture is on display in a quiet and contemplative setting.
