1. 13-Year-Old Charged with Attempted First-Degree Murder

St. Petersburg Police have arrested a 13-year-old male and charged him with attempted first-degree murder for allegedly shooting a 15-year-old male multiple times. 

2. McKalip Campaign Manager: 'Would Like to See Obama Run Down by a Bull'

On a WTSP Facebook post about the incident at the Missouri State Fair McKalip campaign manager Nick Finzer commented, "I think that I would like to see Obama run down by a bull. Except that would make Biden president..." 

3. St. Pete Man Says 'Doomsday Castle' Saved His Life

In January Bruns, who runs the popular local Facebook page I Love Downtown St. Petersbrug, and the rest of his family were featured on the hit National Geographic TV show "Doomsday Preppers."

4. High Rise Apartments Slated for Downtown

There are plans for a 348-unit apartment complex for 700 First Ave. South in downtown, St. Petersburg.

5. 'Businesses are Key' in Plan to Revitalize 34th Street Corridor

The 34th Street Corridor Plan was started in April, and Tuesday’s presentation was an update to residents on what the plan may look like before it is shipped to city council for approval later this year.
