Veterans Day Closures in St. Pete

While many city buildings will be closed in honor of Veterans Day, trash pickup throughout the city will go on as scheduled.

There are no changes to the residential trash collection schedule for St. Petersburg customers during the Veterans holiday week of Nov. 12 - 16. All pick up days remain the same.

Facilities closed on Monday, November 12, include Boyd Hill Nature Preserve,
City Hall, Municipal Services Center, libraries, Business Assistance Center,
Enoch Davis Center, Sunshine Center, Coliseum, and Sunken Gardens' business
offices.

St. Petersburg city facilities OPEN for business on Monday, November 12, include three public golf courses, The Pier, Sunken Gardens attraction, North Shore Aquatic Complex, Mahaffey Theater, Municipal Marina Ship's Store, recreation centers, brush sites, and the city's beach concession stand on Treasure Island.

In addition, the St. Petersburg Main Library at 3745 Ninth Ave. N., the only library open on Sundays, will also be closed on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11.

On  November 12, Sunken Gardens, 1825 Fourth St. N., offers free admission for U.S. military veterans and active military members with ID.
