1. Fashion Show & Benefit at The Mahaffey

You'll find a full night of stand-up comedy, shopping and a fashion show at Rhonda Shear's Comedy PJ Party on Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Mahaffey Theater. The event is a benefit for the Mahaffey Theater Foundation. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the fashion show and comedy show starting at 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $22.50. 2. Date Night at the Movies

It's opening weekend for several movies including "A Good Day to Die Hard," the fifth installment in the Die Hard action movie series, and "Beautiful Creatures." 3. Saturday Morning Market

The market is held weekly on Saturdays through May, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is located at the Al Lang Field parking lot (also known as Progress Energy Park), which is located on the corner of First Ave. S. and First St. Shoppers can browse for fresh fruits and vegetables, loaves of rustic bread, gourmet- prepared foods, specialty foods, herbs, plants, hand crafted gifts and much more. Admission is free.

4. Dali & Beyond Film Series

On Saturday, Feb. 16 from 1 - 3 p.m. the Dali Museum will host a presentation and film screening of "Stealing Lincoln's Body" in the theater. The film will follow an in-depth presentation of the Museum's "Lincoln," (Gala Contemplating the Mediterranean Sea which at Twenty Meters Becomes the Portrait of Abraham Lincoln (Homage to Rothko), 1976). 5. Whigfest

Jannus Live is hosting Whigfest a music and arts festival on Sunday, Feb. 17. Doors open at 11 a.m. tickets are $15 in advance or $20 the day of the show. For more information check out Jannus Live online.
