1. Miss Florida Pageant

This weekend at the Mahaffey Theater is the Miss Florida and Miss Florida Teen pageants. Preliminaries for Miss Florida Outstanding Teen are Friday, July 12. Pageant finals are Saturday, July 13 and start at 3:30 p.m. with Miss Florida Outstanding Teen at 4 p.m. and Miss Florida at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 for Friday night. Tickets for the Saturday night finals are $85. Tickets are available online or by phone at 727-893-7832. 

2. KC and the Sunshine Band, Carly Rae Jepsen Rays' Postgame Concerts

The Tampa Bay Rays are taking on the Houston Astros this weekend in a three-game series. The Rays play Friday at 7:10 p.m., Saturday at 4:10 p.m. and Sunday at 1:40 p.m. After Saturday afternoon's game, there will be a free performance by the legendary group, KC and the Sunshine Band. Sunday's game will also have a free postgame concert and will feature pop sensation and 'Call Me Maybe' singer Carly Rae Jepsen. The shows are free with the purchase of a ticket to that day's game. 3. Second Saturday Art Walk

The 2nd Saturday Art Walk / Gallery Walk is Saturday evening. Participating Galleries open their doors for extended hours on the second Saturday evening of every month. A full list of participating galleries can be found online. The walk is free and is from 6 - 9 p.m. 

4. Summer Concert Series at Jannus

Every Sunday at Jannus Live in July is part of their free summer concert series. The concerts, which are sponsored by Sailor Jerry, are all ages events and feature free food and live reggae bands. Doors open at 6 p.m.

5. Saturday Morning Market

Each Saturday during the summer months, Williams Park transforms into the Saturday Morning Market. From 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. you can check out more than 40 vendors that provide: fresh produce, pasta, plants, clothing and much more. The event is free. The market will be located at Williams through Aug. 24.
