5 Things to do in St. Pete This Weekend

1. Art in the Burg

Head to downtown St. Petersburg Saturday for 'Art in the Burg', which will take place at Jannus Live. The event will feature more than 60 local artists and vendors. There will be live art, music and food and drinks from local restaurants. The free event is from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday. 

2. Laser Spectacular: Music of Pink Floyd

Are you 'just another brick in the wall'? Saturday at the Mahaffey Theater you can catch a psychedelic show at the 'Laser Spectacular: Music of Pink Floyd.' "The audience, surrounded by 10,000 watts of concert quality sound, is carried away on a mind-expanding journey driven by cutting edge effects during the two-hour show," the Mahaffey said. "This year’s Pink Floyd LaserSpectacular features The Dark Side of the Moon. The second half of the show features The Best of Pink Floyd including 'The Wall.' " The show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets start at $22. 

3. Celebrate the 80s

Saturday night in the outdoor courtyard at Jannus Live, after the above Art in the Burg, catch a free concert with the Spazmatics. The 80's music show 'Saturday Night Out' begins at 9 p.m. and is free. 

4. Saturday Morning Market

Each Saturday during the summer months, Williams Park transforms into the Saturday Morning Market. From 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. you can check out more than 40 vendors that provide: fresh produce, pasta, plants, clothing and much more. The event is free. The market will be located at Williams through Aug. 24. 

5. An Afternoon in Havana

"Be transported to the enigmatic city of Havana as the Orquesta Aragon performs," a news release said. "There will be no shortage of fancy footwork as some of the world’s best Latin, Salsa and Mambo dancers and top dancers from Dancing with the Stars will perform for you. Plus, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to get up and dance during the concert as well." The show begins at 2 p.m. in the Coliseum. Tickets start at $70.
