The Black Crows Coming to the Mahaffey

The 90s rock band will bringing its hard rock to the Mahaffey Theater in April.

The Black Crowes, returns to the road this year with the first leg of a worldwide tour scheduled in the UK and US. The first Florida stop for the “Lay Down with Number 13 World Tour” is St. Petersburg at The Mahaffey Theater, Tuesday, April 30 at 7:30pm. Tickets went on sale Friday, Jan. 11. 

Chris Robinson (lead vocals, guitar), Rich Robinson (guitar, vocals), Steve Gorman (drums), Sven Pipien (bass) and Adam MacDougall (keyboard) will be joined by Jackie Greene on guitar and vocals.

The Black Crowes, formed in 1989, released their first album, Shake Your Money Maker, the next year and followed up with The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion that reached the top of the Billboard 200 in 1992. After a hiatus, reunion and change in the lineup, they released Warpaint, in 2008, which landed at #5 on the Billboard chart.
