FOCUS: David Patchen presented by the Duncan McClellan Gallery

The Duncan McClellan Gallery is happy to announce that it will represent David Patchen, a handblown glass artist whose work is shown internationally. Patchen’s stunning glass uses the Italian technique of cane & murine (colored rods & patterned cross-sections of glass) & his work is created out of his intense exploration of pattern, transparency & color. With one glance one can see his influences of textiles, ethnically distinct colors & shapes as well as the marine environment.

Still on exhibit is Urge:Catching the Collectors Eye, celebrating the DMG Artists whose works are included in the Global + Local exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts. Urge includes the work of Gabriele Kustner, Lisabeth Sterling, Massimiliano Schiavon and our very own Duncan McClellan.  August 11th also brings new work from Lisabeth Sterling to the gallery!
