St. Petersburg Preservation - Movie in the Park: American President

St. Petersburg – October marks the beginning of cooler evenings and there is no better way to celebrate the end of summer’s heat then by sitting under the stars on the St. Petersburg downtown waterfront enjoying free film classics and music. The fun will take place each Thursday evening in October (4, 11, 18, and 25) in North Straub Park on Beach Drive between 4th and 5th Avenues NE.  Live music starts at 6 pm and movies at dark. “Music & Movies in the Park” is produced by St. Petersburg Preservation each October and May to help highlight the beauty of our 100+ year old downtown waterfront parks to residents and visitors.

To guarantee a good spot at this popular event make sure to arrive early. Food and drink can be purchased from some of Saturday Morning Market's most popular vendors or feel free to bring a picnic basket while listening to live music from local musicians. Movie goers are encouraged to bring their own blanket or seat (a limited number of folding chairs will be available).  Convenient parking for North Straub Park is located at the Baywalk garage or in the Pier parking lots.

Movies are free; pay-what-you-can donations are greatly appreciated.

St. Pete Preservation thanks Raymond James for their generous support.  Additional generous sponsors include 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House, Museum of Fine Arts, JAllan Studios, City of St. Petersburg, Sylvia Rusche State Farm Insurance and Ale & Witch.
