Jack Hanna Coming to the Mahaffey

Hanna's "Into the Wild Live", which will be in town Dec. 30, gives audiences of all ages the chance to meet members of the animal kingdom, as he shares stories from his world adventures.

This week, the Mahaffey Theater announced that Jack Hanna and his animal friends will be coming to St. Pete on Sunday, Dec. 30. 

Hanna’s “Into the Wild Live" gives audiences of all ages the chance to meet members of the animal kingdom, as he shares stories from his world adventures. 

Tickets for this exotic adventure go on sale Friday, May 25 at noon, with prices starting at $22.50.

Known as the world’s favorite zookeeper, Hanna will be coming to Florida to share stories from his world adventures. 

According to a news release, Hanna started working with animals at the age of 11 for his local veterinarian office. He turned his love into a career in 1973 when he became the director of the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, Seminole County.

After two years in Florida, Hanna moved to Ohio where he became the Executive Director of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. He brought his enthusiasm and some of his animal friends in 1983 to Good Morning America.
