Patch Minute: Salsa, Tango, Ballroom Dancing for All Ages

Gulfport

This week, we're featuring a series of dance lessons at the Historic Gulfport Casino Ballroom at 5500 Shore Blvd. in Gulfport. The original dance floor, built in 1934, is still used today! Come out any Tuesday, Wednesday or Sunday evening and you can grab a drink at the cash bar and make new friends for just $7 per person. That's right, every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. you can learn the Argentine Tango, on Wednesdays - it's Swing Dancing and on Sunday nights you can party with a live band. All ages are welcome and no partners are needed!

• 6 p.m. Swing Night with Swingtime

• 6 p.m. Band & Ballroom Dance

Beaches

Pass-A-Grille is having the first Party Under the Lights on 8th Avenue this Saturday, Jan. 26 starting at 5 p.m. Food and drink vendors will be out as the sun goes down and the fun lights up in Pass-A-Grille. The Backtrack Blues Band will be playing throughout the night and merchants will also be open later for those wanting to peruse the shopping in downtown Pass-A-Grille.
