Bentley's Boutique Bids Farewell to 600 Block

Although the shop has gained a large following in downtown St. Petersburg, owner Torrie Tiernan-Jasuwan says that she "couldn't pass up" the new location.

“It’s going to be the premier gift shop on the beaches,” said Tiernan-Jasuwan of the new and improved Bentley’s Boutique. Come August, the store will be closing and moving to a space on St. Pete Beach.

Not only will the location change, but so will the inventory. As of now, Bentley’s is known as a high end consignment shop. After the move, however, it will be retail only.

A new mom herself, Tiernan-Jasuwan has discovered a love for baby products. The new beach store will carry upscale baby items as well as unique gifts. Shoppers will find everything from candles to handmade jewelry.

“It’s literally going to be a one stop shop on the beach for gifts,” explained Tiernan-Jasuwan.

Tiernan-Jasuwan joined countless other entrepreneurs when she opened the original Bentley’s, back in early 2011. After huge successes on the 600 Block, like opening a neighboring store called Gold & Maiden and hosting charity events, Tiernan-Jasuwan says that it’s time to move forward.

Although she is moving the business, Tiernan-Jasuwan says that there are no hard feelings between her and the fashionable block in downtown St. Pete. According to her, “it’s been wonderful.”

The new location is scheduled to open on August 15th on St. Pete Beach at 6850 Gulf Blvd.
