Saturday Morning Market Returns

The wait is almost over, St. Petersburg. On Saturday, Oct. 5, the Saturday Morning Market returns to downtown St. Petersburg in the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. 

The market, now in its 13th year, runs from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. every Saturday until its switch to the summer market at Williams Park in Summer 2014. 

"We’ve heard reports of depression and withdrawal symptoms. Going without the weekly joys of food, music, sunshine and camaraderie is a difficult challenge," the market wrote on its Facebook page earlier this week. Be consoled that there are just 3 more days before the weekly celebration of good food and cheer returns!"

The Saturday Morning Market features nearly 200 vendors, which sell: Fish, fresh fruit and vegetables, organic meat, pasta, plants, homemade crafts, baked goods, clothing and much more.
