Sheryl Crow, Ziggy Marley Draw Thousands to a Taste of Pinellas

A Taste of Pinellas peaked on Saturday night with the presence of music icons and a firework extravaganza.

A Taste of Pinellas has been conducted annually for more than 25 years. The showcase of local food vendors and national recording artists always breeds a crowd.

After a long day of heat, the bay brought in a breeze that soothed the folks at a Taste of Pinellas. Music filled the air while cheers and laughter followed suit. Aside from desirable weather conditions, the Supermoon lit up the city. 

As the moon made its approach towards earth, Ziggy Marley kicked off the night of live music. The grammy award winning artist rocked a smile and dreadlocks for days.

Local establishments like , and the satisfied the crowd's thirst and hunger needs. More than 40 vendors set up to present their best dishes to the community. 

The sun set over the 'Burg in beautiful Florida fashion. Sheryl Crow took the stage with a vibrant demeanor. Fans staked out seats hours before her arrival and made it clear that Crow's performance was worth the wait.

Today is the final day of the weekend long festival. The music lineup is as follows:

  • Dashboard Confessional from 3:45- 5 p.m.
  • All American Rejects from 5:30- 7 p.m.

Tickets at the gate are $20 each.
