South St. Petersburg Arts Market Closing
The market, located at 3951 34th St. S in St. Pete, will close later this month.
The Value Fair Market, 3951 34th St. S., will be closing its door for good at the end of the month, according to a report by WFLA.com.
"It is with a sad heart that I must tell you Value Fair Market is closing August 30th," the market wrote on Facebook. "Sears Holding-K-Mart Corporation is taking back the building to get it ready to turn it back over to the owners."
According the news station, the 20 vendors inside the market have two week to relocate.
"Manager Julie Johnson said vendors knew the future of the market was tenuous and they all had a 30 days notice clause in their contracts. She admitted the vendors received between 18-25 days notice."
