St. Pete Super Bowl Party Roundup

Can't decide what to do for the big game? Downtown St. Pete will be crawling with specials on drinks, food and a whole lot more.

Downtown St. Pete is no stranger when it comes to celebrating. Because of Sunday's Super Bowl match up, establishments around the area are prepping for one of the biggest party days of the year. From food specials to drink discounts, the deals just keep rolling in.

Where will you spend your Super Bowl Sunday this year?

The courtyard at Jannus will be open to the public. Watch Manning and Brady go head to head on the 30-foot movie screen that will be on display in the courtyard. Bring your own beach chair for seating. Don't leave your furry friends at home because pets are welcome in the outdoor area. There will be $10 Coors Light buckets, $3 Absolut and $2.50 Blue Moon drafts as well as wings and burgers on the grill.

Enjoy the game on Bishop's five brand-new LED HDTV's in the tavern (downstairs). There is no cover charge for entry. For $15 Bishop is offering an "all you can eat and drink" option that starts at 5:30 and goes until the last whistle blows. The special includes drinks and wings from the Doghouse in St. Petersburg.

  • The Avenue - 330 First Ave S

A new addition to the downtown bar scene is The Avenue. With flat screens, a full bar and a food menu it's a one stop shop for everything Super Bowl. Try the $30 all you can eat/drink special. From 6-9 pm, enjoy all the Bud Light, Shocktop and Yeungling drafts your heart desires; plus, indulge in the wings and french fries that are included in the $30 offer.

  • Suite Six - 265 Central Ave

Another venue that has just opened its doors is Suite Six. The venue has rented a 9-foot projection screen to display the game on. There is no cover charge at Suite Six. Guests can get down on the $50 open bar option with complimentary hors d'oeuvres to snack on. Doors open at 4 pm.

Put your party pants on early at Jonny Reno's. The celebration begins at noon with no cover charge. Live music starts at 1 pm and a corn hole tournament will be in full swing. Skateboarding, fishing and a ring toss will also be available. For the four quarters of the game, enjoy a $14.95 all you can eat "Super Buffet." Drink specials and jello shots will be announced during the festivities.
