Herman Home Makes St. Pete Its Own

Herman Home just celebrated its two year anniversary and is now offering to give away a brand new living room valued at $5,000.

December 2011 marked Herman Home’s two-year anniversary as a St. Pete based business. Back in 2009, local design genius Ed Biggs teamed up with New York-based developer Steve Herman to launch Herman Home.

Herman Home tailor fits each design project to fit the need and budget of the client. From high-end jobs like Parkshore Plaza to residential homes, Herman Home draws no boundary line to their work.

The showroom, located 646 2nd Ave S., has furniture, artwork and even lighting are all on display.

Herman Home specializes in high quality furnishings, flooring and lighting. They also complete home staging for customers looking to sell a house. The professionals at Herman Home design houses, offices and hotels as well.

To give back to the community, Herman Home is currently hosting an online contest called Drab to Fab. Only locals can participate (Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota).

Contest hopefuls must submit a photo of their living room to the Herman Home Facebook page along with a clever caption explaining why they deserve to win. Contestants must then encourage friends and family to vote for their photo on Facebook.

Drab to Fab entries will have the chance to win a new living room (valued at $5,000), a piece of artwork (valued at $1,000) or a piece from the design center (valued at $500).

Photos and captions must be submitted and voted on by March 15, 2012.
