On the evening of July 16th , there was a STOP THE LENS event held downtown at the Orange Blossom catering hall. Many supporters attended and enjoyed an evening of good company and dialog. There were 2 faces that showed up that were NOT there to support the STOP movement . Seems they came to sit in on the nights event, with an open ear to the support that shows to have strong numbers and passionate residents behind it's cause. How did they feel when the name they chose,'Build the Pier', was called out at this event ,as an attempt to confuse voters ? As this New PAC moves forward, trying to gain popularity throughout the younger generation in the community, will it be enough ? can they convince residents the Lens would work for St. Petersburg even with all the flaws in the Lens design ? Why have they really gotten involved in such a loosing battle ,especially after 'Sully' , a front runner for the Lens, dropped his support ? Who convinced this Young group to get involved ?
I am not sure this PAC understands what they have just entered into ?
If there was a sign above the social door they entered , It would say DANGER ZONE, ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK and REPUTATION.
