MAYOR RICK KRISEMAN NAMES DAVE METZ INTERIM CITY DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATOR
(ST. PETERSBURG; April 1, 2014) – Today, Mayor Rick Kriseman named Dave Metz to serve as the Interim City Development Administrator, effective immediately. Until today, Mr. Metz served as the Director of Downtown Enterprise Facilities. He is serving as Interim Administrator following the retirement of Rick Mussett.
“Dave Metz has been a big part of this city and this region for more than thirty years, and I trust he will serve as a strong, stable leader in a critically important department,” said Mayor Kriseman. “I have full confidence in Dave and know he and his team will make our city proud.”
Mr. Metz has also served in previous administrations as Deputy Mayor for Neighborhood Services, and Senior Administrator for Internal Services. He worked as the Director of the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, and prior to that, was the Senior Manager for Business Development with the Pinellas County Economic Development Department. Mr. Metz has also served as the City Marina and Port Director.

Joe Zeoli, the Director of City Development Administration and Finance will serve a dual role in his current capacity, and as Interim Director of the Downtown Enterprise Facilities Department.
