Vote Today and Help SPCA Win Animal Ambulance

The SPCA is in the running for a Toyota van. But supporters must cast their votes today on Facebook, in order for the shelter to win.

SPCA Tampa Bay is one of 500 finalists in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program. Toyota will award vehicles to 100 nonprofit organizations based on votes from the public. So the SPCA is asking for help.

SPCA Tampa Bay’s VOTE Day is today on Facebook from 6 a.m. to 11:59:59 p.m. (See directions below.)

SPCA Tampa Bay will use the new van as a 24-hour ambulance for transporting injured animals and for responding to cruelty cases.

Every year the nonprofit travels more than 75,000 miles in response to thousands of calls from the public to assist lost pets. By voting for the SPCA you can ensure this service continues.

The SPCA transports and receives vital medical care, food and shelter for homeless, abandoned, sick and injured animals. They make an effort to locate worried pet owners, and when that’s not possible they care for the pets until they are adopted.
