Earth Day St. Pete Festival

On April 19th, 2014, St. Petersburg will celebrate Earth Day with its first annual festival to be held in beautiful

South Straub Park. The city will join more than 190 countries, over one billion people, to commemorate the birth of the modern environmental movement that began in 1970.

This free event will be presented by the Downtown Partnership, an organization that is focusing on the businesses that support green initiatives. The festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the primary goal of educating to create healthy, sustainable communities. Visitors can meet companies that are leading members of the green/sustainability movement and hear from speakers on current topics affecting our earth. All ages are welcome.
