By the Sea and Beyond Group Show at Moonfish Bay Gallery

Thru Jan 4th - Featuring the original paintings of Cuban-American artist Ben Cardoso.  Ben’s vibrant colors and uplifting optimism reflect his memories of a childhood spentin Havana, Cuba.  His creative spirit was nourished and expanded by extensive world travel, and as the years passed his paintings have come to reflect those places, people, and experiences in lif that he has chosen to carry with him. Also featuring Linda Molto's hand pulled  serigraphs.  These works are a sampling of memories from the last 30 years of her life in one of the few original old
Florida areas left - the fishing village of Cortez.  She creates all the screens and applies each color one at a time by hand, using up to as many as 30 different screens for more complicated images.   Powerful and evocative, Linda’s serigraphs speak loudly of the small details of life in a Florida rarely seen these days.
“By the Sea and Beyond” also presents work by Richard Stewart, Wayne Dabinet, Lourdes Rosas-Rasdall, Char DiGennaro, Deborah Dabinet, Don Gillespie, and lots more.
