KIDS & KUBS MAYOR DAY TO INCLUDE GAME WITH HALF-CENTURY

St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman will bring the City Hall
All-Stars to North Shore Park Saturday, February 22, to face the all-star contingent

from the Kids&Kubs. The game is set to begin at 12:00. Featured players on the Mayor’s squad are expected to include: City Council Chair, Bill Dudley; Council Vice Chair, Steve Kornell; Council Members, Charlie Gerdes, Jim Kennedy, Carl Nurse and Darden Rice. 

At 2:30 pm will face the Kids&Kubs All Stars will face a team of Half-Century Softball Club players in a 7-inning contest.Bob Carran a fifteen year veteran of the Half-Century Club and four year player for the Kids&Kubs will be honored posthumously when his number “77” is retired.Schedule for the day is as follows: 10 a.m., game 1, Kids & Kubs vs. TASCO Teens; noon, Kids & Kubs present donations to local charities; 12:30 p.m., batting practice; 1 p.m., opening ceremonies with National Anthem and God Bless America songs, game 2, followed by Kids & Kubs vs City Hall Stars; 2:30 p.m. game 3, St. Petersburg Half Century Club vs. Boys of Winter. Free parking and bleacher seating is available. Canned good donations will be collected for St. Petersburg Free Clinic. For more
