Election Update - Your Vote More Important Than Ever

Florida may well be the deciding factor in the Presidential election

With the events along the East coast it is now more important than ever that you cast your vote. Officials will scramble to make voting as available as possible, but there is no doubt that the election process will be affected if not delayed.

Mail your ballot in, go to the polls and vote early, go vote on election day, just be sure you cast your vote.

Early voting will be October 27-November 3, Saturday-Saturday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. in all three Supervisor of Elections offices.

You have probably already decided who you will vote for in the Presidential race. Me? I voted for Romney/Ryan. If you would like to see the rest of my ballot it is posted at Bay Post Internet

This is a very long and complicated ballot. You might be tempted to just vote on the key races and ignore the rest of the ballot, especially the Amendments and the School Board Referendum.

With every taxing entity in the State coming after you for more taxes, you should take the time to get informed and vote on every Amendment and The school Board Property Tax Referendum. (I voted NO)  These issues affect you directly, and they especially affect your wallet.

Given the complexity of this ballot, you should make your ballot decisions before hand and take them with you to the polling place. It's just way to much to try to remember.

With voting severely disrupted along the east coast and across the eastern half of the country, Florida may well be the deciding factor in the Presidential election.
